Davies' Colletes Bee
I make an attempt to photograph, identify and record all the different bee species that visit our Staffordshire garden. I don't see many "new" species these days, but this species started appearing in July 2026. It's one of the Colletes species; possibly Colletes daviesanus. Like with many insects, identification from photographs can be difficult.
