Nomada hirtipes

A smallish dark Nomada. The predominantly red abdomen is very apparent when in flight. Female has a prominent pale yellow spot on each side of the abdomen.

Nomada hirtipes is a cleptoparasite of the scarce mining bee Andrena bucephala.
